Are You Your Highest Spiritual Authority? What It Takes To Be In Control of Yourself
How often have you given up your own opinions, preferences or did something just for sake of other person, including your loved ones? Sounds familiar, yes? There are many of those moments and situations in daily life where you have compromised your own integrity with an intent behind to please someone else for various reasons: for example in order to gain something, maintain a status quo or not having to make a drastic decisions which would required an integral act on your behalf. The situations are countless and only you alone know when you have given up your won authority over your life to someone else.
Before we dive into the subject, realize this fundamental tenet that you are only as much empowered in your life as you hold yourself responsible and accountable for your own thoughts, emotions and actions in every moment of your life. Yes, every moment, since we crate our external experiences in the physical world in every moment breath-in and breath-out. Whether you create your experiences unconsciously and randomly by default or consciously, it is also your choice, even if it has been made by your subconscious mind. Most likely if you are reading this, you have developed some degree of self-awareness and have been practicing conscious choice making for sometime now, and possibly with random results.
So let’s explore what is one’s authority over life and choices we make every day. First of all we need to realize and fully embrace that whatever happened in your life in the past, happening in the present or will happen in the future, is by your own choice. In such approach to life choices are made at the conscious level which is the case of highly aware individuals connected to their Souls, or you can call it Spirit, Inner-self, Higher-self, God, and this is the most beneficial place to be at.
However this is rare in our highly conditioned and brainwashed societies. To be at this level of personal evolution, one had to discard all societal conditioning and its collective mindset, while establishing own authority within self, which then creates conscious way of life. It takes a tremendous amount of personal courage to become self-governed regardless of external circumstances, family, friends, associates at work and any other people or life situations. Person living by such principles does not live by any kind of ‘should’ and ‘could’ which are extremely disempowering words in any language of this planet. These two modal verbs imply that there is some kind of external authority or obligation set by someone outside to which one has to yield.
To be in the position of consciously using free-will in choice making, it is necessary to comprehend how we create our physical reality and accept full responsibility for whatever you have created. Only when you own your responsibility for all circumstances you find yourself in, you have power to change it and shape the way you want it to be. Yes, sometime it means taking very unpopular decisions, standing on your own totally abandoned by your peers and even maybe family until they see results of becoming a powerful individual living from your Soul. Eventually, people will admire you for the inner strength and creation of life that you really desire. Of course some temporary setbacks will occur however from the conscious choice making perspective, they will no longer be perceived as setbacks or obstacles, but rather as signposts that some change in your circumstances maybe necessary. Sometime they may be even perceived as motivators for new choice and action. Life becomes effortless and relaxed in the knowing that you are always in control, without any external authority outside of you and never again controlled and manipulated by society. It does not mean that you need to discard all social strata, in contrary you will be able to choose how you wish to interact with it and to what degree.
This is not yet a mainstream way of living by implementing the principles of conscious self-governance. However with the current expedited evolution of consciousness on the planet, more and more individuals embark on their Soul’s journey to discover and know themselves at the deeper level, beyond logical mind and into the metaphysical world of reality which cannot be perceived through human’s eyes. The road to this inner place of self-trust is thorough feelings and intuition, as well as dedication to personal evolution and desire to discover deeper inner truth.
The challenge to embark on such personal journey is to break free from fear of being abandoned by others when you stop pleasing everyone and speaking your own truth. Remember however, never harm anyone intentionally. Speaking personal truth is not to become cold, uncaring and aloof, but compassionate individual who understands that majority of people on this planet are sill caught up in the tight grip of control system of the societies and rules which do not serve them well, but they have not arrived to their deeper realization yet. Therefore, when you live life rooted in your own highest authority, the responsibility for your own choices, thoughts, words, actions and conduct is inclusive of how you relate to less spiritually evolved and less conscious humans. This relationship indicates your own advancement because it reflects your compassion and understating of much deeper reality that we are all connected at the subtle energy level of existence. Our co-existence as spices is interdependent not only on each other but foremost on our planet Earth that humans cannot sustain life without her. When you awaken your inner self to shine in this lifetime, there is no going back to ignorance. The more conscious you become the bigger responsibility lies on you.
Before embarking on the Soul’s journey, deeply consider whether you are ready to drop your ignorance and become evolved, sovereign being… it can be a turbulent road before one conquer own limitations. Are you courageous enough to hold yourself fully accountable for your life and ready to embrace your freedom from slavery and collectively unconscious society?
To your stepping out of comfort zone.
